Yeah the update i just watched was supposedly from the recent CDPR conference and it basically said the sequel was originally called project Orion to keep things under wraps but they officially announced the sequel cyberpunk 2 is in heavy development and they took a lot of the folks from Witcher 4 and moved them to focus on cyberpunk 2 now that Witcher 4 is closer to release.

I probably prefer cyberpunk to the recent fallout games so for a fps rpg cdpr has my fave franchise. They also got it with Witcher series. Beats the hell out of dragon age or any other rpg that's similar. The way they tell a story is so epic. Wonder if theyll ever develop a new franchise.
 
Im at the end of the game now. The only main story quest I have now (unless I get some calls soon) is meeting that lady at the embers so it can lock me out and finish.

I did every single gig in every region, killed all the cyberpsychos, went to every side job marker, did every "companion questline".

All I have left is the DLC before I go to the embers. For the DLC ive done 5 out of 10 gigs and I just now met Idris elba. After I finished the meeting I had to "pass time" in game for a couple days so Idris would call me back with more quest stuff because I have nothing to do besides the races or the car stealing quests but im not interested in those.

dlc is pretty dope so far though. I was burnt out on the gigs, but the gigs in the dlc are decently lengthy and actually have cool little stories to them. Also love finding those militech air drops around dogtown. 2 out of 3 of them have some really cool drops in them. Got a really dope smart assault rifle. Just need a iconic smart smg and iconic smart shotgun before I beat the game.

Dunno when ill do another playthrough. Would be cool trying a katana build or melee build or pure shotgunner build of sorts.

End stats for me were 20 Intelligence, body and reflexes and 18 tech. Most my perks in intelligence and technical ability with a small amount in body and reflex.

If you go to embers you can’t finish the DLC remember that

Out of the two DLC endings, one ending allows you to finish the main game though

yeah im aware of that. I keep getting calls at random from Judy or Kerry. Jut little side stuff thats mostly story, but Im trying to complete as many quests of the game as i can before i finish it. Its juist dumb that certain time in game has to happen before someone will call me up. Quests usually dont turn out to be necessary, but theyre cool little stories. Just appear at random and i want to complete everything before i go to embers haha. Thankfully the DLC is pretty lengthy and im still pretty early in it so calls come in aas i progress a part of that story. I gotta go help judy save the whores when i log back in.

Finally got my first Smart SMG last night. Only holds 20 rounds and no mod slots though which sucks. But its a pretty nice weapon and does electrical damage. Also got a smart shotgun that does fire damage last night and holds 12 rounds.

Yeah I’m holding off on the last PL ending because I’m waiting to do the reunion show and kerry/uscracks missions but idk what triggers the calls for them

I romanced Judy and I’m done with her story but she texts me every day in looove with me

She kinda is better than panam as a romance option tbh

Smart weapons maybe I’ll try on the 5th playthrough lol

I’ve played all other ways I can

Haha i romanced Panam. She got that ass and played hard to get.

Judy a lesbian and wouldnt give me no play.

River a goddamn homo and keeps trying to get me to come over and hang out with him. I went so i could complete the quest but spent time hitting on his sister then he took me away from her and showed me a "lookout" and tried to get me drunk. Homo af. Should kill him next time he calls.

I did the reunion show and Kerry called me for something else I have to go check out.

Im not sure what triggers them either. If i run out of stuff to do i just go sleep for a couple days and usually someone will call with something, then as i go complete that quest, someone else calls. I probably could go do the races or car stealing missions but im so over those.
 
Was looking around for something to play before FrostPunk 2 drops and saw I can play this joint for free. I havent read anything in here so far.. this worth playing?

I played it's cool. These niggas in here have played it 4-5 times so you got your answer already. I personally don't enjoy playing game campaigns more than once. Fohwtbs.

I think I remember when this launched folks were complaining about it being buggy as fuck so I never bothered checking back in. I see this shit is 31 pages tho and its free so I figured id ask 🤷🏽‍♂️

It's definitely worth playing. Pretty dope story with a ton of lore around it you want to read all that. Lots to do that will keep you busy. Different ways to play like stealthy or run in guns blazing but they can have consequences to the story depending what you do, but usually nothing too severe. Perks and making a build is fun. Can focus on guns and healing or katanas or melee. Can make pistols as powerful as using a shotgun. Installing cyber wear is almost like using armor. All provide different stats and effects and when used together have a synergy that makes you seem indestructible if done right.

Really fun. I dunno if ill do another playthrough but im glad I finally sat down and gave this a chance.

I’m 60 hours into my 4th playthrough lol

I’m doing shit I didn’t even know I could do the first few times (some of that is updates though)

I could easily do a 3rd playthrough straight off the back of this one. I haven't even uaed Tech weapons yet. Used smart weapons my first playthrough and using power weapons for this one.

Think i'll leave a 3rd playthrough until down the line though. Maybe just before the sequel is out. Will use a female, Nomad V specializing in Tech weapons
