Could your 17-18yo child bring they bf/gf on a family trip?

My kid ain’t having a bf/gf under my roof so it’s a non issue

They'd prolly have a better chance of getting me to agree to allow them and their s/o to have their own room than they would getting me to agree to allow their s/o to come on a family vacation in the first place.

Shittt my ex family did it for me. I was all up in the room smashing and they would come to the door randomly for food questions and what we were going to do that day. Other way around tho...

Hell nah.

The title changed since the merge.

Yes they can come. But no separate rooms like you stated in the other thread.

I have a small story about some shit like this:

I watched a girl’s parents try this. They went out of town, got their daughter a hotel room (not with them, a separate one in the city) and asked me to bring her pizza. Shit was baffling to understand. I thought it was a trap.

Sure enough, I went over to the room at the hotel with the pizza and she’s all alone. I asked, “why did your parents do this?”

She said, “my parents really like you and hope you’ll be around for a while.”

My mind couldn’t shake that. So, we ate, I smashed, then I called my friend to come get me. She was PISSED. I think we broke up the next day, but I really didn’t care. That was the second time some grown person tried to palm their daughter on to me. Nah. I was only 19, and a sophomore in undergrad. Fuck I look like getting trapped by anyone…

I was brought along on a family trip when I was 17

We had one hotel room, and when her mama fell asleep we snuck out and smashed in the car

Good times

Family trip? Yes.
Sharing the same room at 17? No.
Sharing the same room at 18? Meh. No longer my place to give orders.
