my bad, I would throw the dude Tariq to run, but dude said someone will kill him...lol.

His talking points are what I support, however one may feel about dude, truth be told he's debunked a lot of stuff that's going on out here and he's studied under some of the greats.

There's a dude down here who is a mayor who speaks good stuff, that's how I know the ins and outs, he's clicked in to the point he knows what's coming down the pipe.

I been pushing for him to run, but dude said it's a lot of stuff behind the scenes that needs to happen and he may get killed because of his thoughts. etc etc.

I like Gary Chambers at times, but he get around some folks and at times get to cooning, soft shoeing. Gary needs to stop riding the fence.

Tariq hasn't even done a show on this viral moment yet. That's going to get eyes on it. he's shadow banned but his views will be high.

I’m not a single issue voter. I think that’s the dumbest stance anyone can take.

That said, if a candidate actually put forward a reparations plan I’d vote for them in a primary if they were in it. I’d vote for them in the general if they made it that far. But I see no point in black people’s suffering to prove a point by allowing Trump types to become president.

If people are serious about getting reparations, it has to go far beyond “no check, no vote.” That’s just way too simplistic and why they aren’t taken seriously. What does reparations look like in 2026? I’ve yet to hear anyone actually lay out a detailed plan for what that looks like so I can’t say “no check, no vote” if I don’t even know what’s supposed to be written on that check.

People going to get a reparations check for $2k each and have their taxes, healthcare, food, gas, etc. costs raised by $3k per year into perpetuity cause their only criteria for voting for a candidate was “cut the check”.

That's fair, I don't think most folks are single issue voters, but they have things that they want high on their list vs what is being offered.

As far as the Trump types getting in, I'll put it like this, and this is my stance, if one is offered cheese, crackers, and orange juice and that's not what they want, or it isn't something that they are asking for, then the Trump types will continue to win. Very simple. Kamala for example offered nothing that the people wanted, so Trump win.

If she offers nothing that the people want, she will lose again, that's very simple.

It's the job of the person who is running to meet the demands of the people, not the people (just accept what is being offered by the candidate) That's the silliest thing to do and that's what a lot of you on here vote like. That's not progress. Here yall, here's some cheese that yall can nibble on vs asking what we need
I call it voting with your eyes closed. Writing checks with your eyes closed them old folks used to say.

I myself know that other groups have gotten reparations in the past from countries, entiites etc. I know we as a country have sent over aid to Ukraniess and I know a detailed plan was mapped out then, and prices weren't raised for them.

Detailed plan will be put together.

What would a detailed plan look like to You? For 45-50 FBAS?

There’s two chefs. Whichever chef ends up in the kitchen you eat their food or starve. I’m picking the chef who cooks the food I like most. It’s really that simple.

As far as a plan, I’m not the one saying no check, no vote. It’s up to those people to provide the plan, not me.

Using your example, if you ever had a chef cook for you, (he's cooking for you, serving you) usually the chef asks you what can he or she prepare for you?? What do you like to eat sir or what shall I whip up for you.

The candidate asks the voters or those potential voters what they need to survive, not the here is what I got to offer and you take it or leave.

That's why Kamala lost and that's why she is NOW saying "Get Yours" Get something for your vote. Too late and I still don't trust it. They have no other way to turn (as I stated in 2024) but to us. You really gotta start sitting yo ass down and talking to the Tariqs of the worlds. Can't run this time or you will lose again.

That's how it goes with other groups and that's how it is now starting to play out with black folks under 50.


If the Dems want to win again, they have to win over the grassroot, and that 50 and under crowd of blacks, gain their trust again. These voters are more smarter, politically aware on what these folks are offering. which is nothing. or not what the people want.

I think it's too late, now she's said it out loud, and now folks are really on the "What am I going to get for my vote" wave, these folks will have to ask what we as voters want.

You can (offer) your own list of items and then say, "look my policies are better than the next guy" or that guy is racist, yadda yadda, folks don't care, they've seen how things been happening over the last 8 years or so. Both sides are horrible. Now folks, black folks especially are on some, we'll sit this bitch out and let everybody suffer or you will give us what we want.

We'll watch other groups cry and whine and black folks over 50 cry about this and that, or you will listen and give us what we are asking for.

I call good money and told folks on here how this would unfold going forward. And as you can see, the shit has taken off

You keep saying she offered nothing and that's simply not true

I really do be trying to understand the over arching point you be trying to make but you gotta stop speaking in absolutes to sensationalize your point

Kamala was offering $20k for homebuyers. People wanted that. The issue is the voices for cheaper eggs kept being giving platforms drowning out the voices that were actually requesting real tangible things.

At a minimum, she was going to extend Obama care. People wanted that.

There are a few other things but the issue with her for people that present like you is she wasn't talking about monetary reparations specifically for fba people which boils down to a being a single issue voter.
