Her and Anycia had one of my favorite songs last year. They kinda creating a new lane for women rap these days. The girl in the group is dope. I wanna see her win.
None of this shit sounds like professional rap music.
Lol what does that mean
Lil yachty trick these dudes manThe "flows", the production, the lyrics, the mix-down... it all sounds very amateur level. Like not even "standing in front of tower records selling burnt cd's" status.
Eh I think you overthinking. I post newer artists all the time and most of the comments tell me it sucks. It's amazing what passes as good music on this site from people who in one thread shit on actual good music while supporting this stuff in the name of being "different".
I vehemently disagreeEh I think you overthinking. I post newer artists all the time and most of the comments tell me it sucks.
I post older classic hip hop songs on them song of the day threads and people love. The reality is most folks who post here are old and stuck in their ways of how they want hip hop to sound so when it's something different from what they used to listen to, or have the classic elements of hip hop they get uneasy and call it ass.
Shit been going on for years here lol. Tbh I'm more surprised some people in this thread at least like the chick in the group Karrabooo.
This is intentional to have an underground/we don't give AF and not even trying aesthetic. The "flows", the production, the lyrics, the mix-down... it all sounds very amateur level. Like not even "standing in front of tower records selling burnt cd's" status.
Which just highlights how terrible rap is right nowThey sound like the rappers of the current time
C'mon silverThis is intentional to have an underground/we don't give AF and not even trying aesthetic.
It's a reason why the chick in the group raps like a lazy version similar to Currensy. Some folks won't like it or get it but it's all intended to sound dirty aka go against the grain of sounding over produced.
Chris Crack still have the essential elements of being a dope MC with his lyrical abilities which was similar to when Danny Brown first came out which is why classic hip hop heads accepted him even though his voice was ..... interesting lol.I vehemently disagree
I thoroughly enjoy Chris Crack and he sounds NOTHING like this stuff. He's not hiding behind "dope" beats to mask an inability to actually rap.
Don't fall in the "lil bro " bag on this one fam Im a music nerd lol. I know what I'm talking about on this one.C'mon silver
