Overall this album didn’t match the ridiculous rollout and media tour and dick eating from 40 year olds on the internet

I understand why it’s being so lauded though it’s comforting to see clipse come back and there’s not much really out musically this year in rap

It’s a good album but not one to really go back to to listen to as a whole

Just pluck your 5-7 songs and that’s it

No matter the name change I can always tell when it's a Beta post. Be a better human being my guy.

My first listen in going to be a whip test today. Hoping for good things.

Lmao i hate that sappy-ass intro. Who the fuck wants a John Legend piano intro in 2025. John Legend crooning about goddamn birds is embarrassing. Like come on. This album deserved a far better intro track. I thought Pharrell had a couple other questionable decisions on this album. What was the point of that beat switch for Nas? Feels criminal not hearing Nas over that title track beat. Is a song you played at a Louis Vutton show 2 years ago really the best production we can come up with for a collab with the biggest rapper in the world? Whatever.

Stuff like the intro only annoys me because I've actually enjoyed this Almost Dry era of solo Pharrell production more than his other post-2004 work. Its all menacing minor keys and HEAVY kick drums. Like an increible amount of craftsmanship into layering and mixing those kicks. Beatmakers need to take notes, drill is dead lol.

Ur not too far off

Legend vocals do not blend at all w the production

I love the intro the beat could have been more but the raps were phenomenal

At our age niggas gotta start touching on real topics sometimes

But on another note they wanted to lead w that to get it out of the way before the fly coke talk
