Ja Rule outsold Jay Z in 2000 and 2001. In 2002 they both went double plat.

2000 Rule 3:36 - 3X Platinum
2001 Pain Is Love - 3X Platinum
2002 The Last Temptation 2X Platinum

2000 - Dynasty 2X Platinum
2001 - Blueprint 2X Platinum
2002 - Blueprint 2 - 2X Platinum

^^^ Those are facts. Having said that, I was never much of a Ja Rule fan. He had some songs I liked (mostly his radio singles). I wouldn't mind having a Ja Rule Greastest Hits album but I can't see myself buying any of his actual albums.

I Like Jay Z better but the fact is that Ja Rule was outselling Jay Z when Jay was at his peak.

Nigga you acting like Jay flopped while Ja was selling records.

They both were putting out multi plat albums.

Had hit songs as both the feature or guest artist.

They both were on the same level til 03/04. Cut it out

They emphatically were NOT on the same level. I posted the sales figures and Ja Rule was clearly outselling Jay Z.

An artist selling 3X Plat >>> An artist selling 2X Plat.

Having said that, I prefer Jay Z's music but let's not try to rewrite history.

Nigga you the one trying to rewrite history.

Anybody w/ brain know Jay was just as big rapper in the early 2000's as Ja.

lol Ja was selling more than Jay during those couple years, but Jay's sales peak was in the 90s where he went 5x plat with vol 2....

Those weren't jay's peak years and even then your numbers are wrong.

in 02 jay went 3x plat.

This is pretty unrelated but I remember in 03 or 04 when murder inc was at the peak of their beef with shady/g-unit

and Ja's album was about to drop and in The Source magazine they had a article that said "3 million people bought Ja Rules last album, I hope all those people stay loyal to him and buy his new one" LMAO fuckin benzino was beggin people to buy Ja's album smh
