I dont think I've seen folks saying he should have been shot for his beliefs. Just that his free speech was not without consequences which is what people mistake whenever they go on their "I can say what I want" tirades.

And.. and the motive while one hasn't been established isnt for his word its because he wasnt right enough... that narrative of "free speech" persist for sone reason...
