Spotify? That's a distribution deal... now that the contract is pretty much done, Joe can pack his bags and go elsewhere, no?

Complex is a different story. Joe thought he was a partner, bringing something to the table that HE CREATED... but end up learning the hard way.

You think Charlamagne has 100% power to pick and choose where he wants to take this?

Didn't he create something under MTV, did a few episodes, and got kicked to the curb?

Charlamange gotta battle the other partners who may not share the same passion, vision, and see the importance of it other than the mighty dollar. If iHeart wants make moves for iHeart's best interest, what you think Charlamange is going to do?

Remember, Spotify wanted a piece of Joe's platform, and I am sure their offer was gorgeous lol. Charlamagne can't make moves like that with his partnership with iHeart. Tell me how, and where?

Would have been cool to celebrate or denounce what CTG has done with this deal but I guess its inevitable that he would be pitted against Joe and others in his field
 
Well guess we will see where this goes and if there is a difference between this and what Joe Buddens is trying to do.

Based on what Buddens said on his podcast it does seem like they're trying to accomplish two different things.

I agree but Charlamagne been acting like a sassy lil bitch for the past week because he's fighting a different battle than Joe is.

Both should be commended for what they're doing because black men should be able to do both: be a high ranking executive in other people's companies and own our own smaller companies. Whites do it. Jews fordamnsure do it. No need for there to be an 'either or' debate.

Charlamagne just gotta stop acting like a fuckin bitch whenever he doesn't have a legitimate argument.
