They made it seem like Maria was this unfathomably powerful person because she was able to conjure up a dragon but it still wasn't enough. Like they were worried she was about to go to the dark side or something lol

Richter of course landed the final blow lol I just rolled my eyes at it

The back and forth on if the enemy was dead/finished or not got annoying

I liked the redemption arch for Orlox

For being Dracula's son... isn't Alucard supposed to be more powerful than this? I guess they just didn't want him to solo everyone

Maria and her vampire mom was an interesting story. Wish they didn't end it so quickly

I was surprised that the singing demon that remembered everything was allowed to live for so long

She is powerful. Remember she still a child and up til she called that dragon, the largest thing she conjured was that tiger.

Having a Belmont get thst last hit should be obviously. Aren't they like the main protagonist throughout games?

Orlox redemption isn't really a surprise. Its6not like he was a evil villainous vampire.

Dracula isn't the 1st vampire and Alucard is half human.

We'll get more of those 2 in the next season.

That doesn't really change what I said though

Doesn't mean they have to be the ones to always take out the villain

I didn't think it was a surprise either. I just said I liked what they did with his story

What's Dracula not being the first vampire have to do with what I said? Alucard being half human was known in the first show

They set Orlox up nicely to be the villain he was in Symphony of the Night.

He’s the boss before Dracula.

Not exactly evil and won’t attack Alucard unless u approach him. He sits at the long dinner table before getting to Dracula’s portion.

I fully expect him to meet his end by Alucard or a brain washed Richter that has been newly awakened.

Because is unfathomably powerful for her age.

And why doesn't? Why shouldn't the main protagonist be the one to get the killing blow?

I didn't like how it ended. Turning dude felt selfish to me.

Dracula not being the 1st vampire means there's no reason for any of his offspring bring super powerful.

I just don't think it's required for him to get the last blow to kill the villain. It's not that deep to argue about IMO

He wanted a companion and Mizrak was scared of dying. Though Mizrak hasn't accepted that he's in love with a vampire. I was honestly thinking he was going to open the curtains on himself since he's now what he always despised

I mean even being the son of the 2nd vampire usually means they're pretty powerful. I think I only played 1 game back in the day but that usually goes for a lot of vampire content that the closest to the original is more powerful

So why are you?

Well we'll see how it turns out next season if they return.

He is powerful but he is still half human which undoubtedly limits his potential.

I honestly though at some point Dracula would show up

What part of all of their strengths and none of their weaknesses, so difficult when talking dhampir?

Same rules that apply to Blade and Hunter D apply in the Castlevania universe as well.

Doesn't the sun affect D just as bad or as nearly as bad as other vampires and isn't he also genetically altered?

Isn't Blade cursed with the same thirst for blood as other vampires?

Dude…

An affliction common in dhampirs, usually happening once every six months, D's constitution and extraordinary physiology seems to give a prolonged resistance to this condition limiting it to only once every 5 years. During this time, long periods in sun light will weaken D greatly. The symptoms manifest with out warning, even the parasite can't detect or predict when it will happen. The symptoms are a sudden feeling of exhaustion and an ever increasing lassitude along with a fever so hot that there is no means to cool it under normal means. As long as the sufferer was exposed to sunlight their whole body would stiffen, leaving them paralyzed before eventually lost consciousness. Their body temperature would drop below that of a corpse, and their breaths would come several minutes apart leaving the sufferer unable to move or defend himself. Like Nobles however, this affliction will only affect him while he is on earth. On other planets, dimensions, or any other place other than this specific planet earth he will not be affected by sunlight

Nigga, did you copy&paste this shit?
I'm not even sure what you're trying to convey

Nah, sunlight kills vampires in D's universe. It just weakens D. Blade has a thirst but he's not as driven by it as full vampires.

On topic, I don't know what the Castlevania writers are on, but they don't miss.

Best Black characters in an animated series IMO. I wonder what inspired them to make a plotline revolving around the Orishas and Voudon. That's definitely not from the game.

MFKZ, Hammerman, Fat Albert, Class of 3000, and the gotdamn Boondocks would like a word….

Hell… Waynehead just threw their hat in the ring.

Should have been more specific. I'm talking about fantasy/sci-fi/anime type shit. That said, the characters in this are definitely better than Hammerman and Fat Albert characters IMO. The genres are so different the characters almost can't be compared though.
