It's basically a classic artist, patron relationship.

The label probably gave her millions of dollars upfront and she probably owes like 5 albums.

She hasn't been releasing music steadily enough to justify the label's investment in her, so her label probably frustrated and are not giving into her demands.

So she's probably like fuck it, don't release the video and they are like fine, fuck you too, you still owe us.
