Bring Back Real Remixes!

I bet yall dont remember that this was Bow Wow’s song originally

Kelz left that man off ond made a hotter track lmao

I don't like the concept of a remix.

Back in the early 80s, a remix was usually just a longer version of the album version. The beat would ride for a little longer towards the end, or there might be some sound effects in between verses. or sound effects throughout the song to make it sound different.

Sometime in the 90s two kinds of remixes came into existence;

1. The remix with a guest rapper(s) spitting verses (Flavor In Your Ear, I Shot Ya, I Wanna Be Down)

2. The remix where the song is the same but the beat is different (Can I Kick It, The Benjamins, One More Chance Hip Hop Remix)

Here's a remix I really liked. Its a song called Straight Out The Jungle, which was on the Jungle Brothers first album. But they extended the song and added some extra cuts and scratches.

We just gonna pretend Mary J. Blige ain't the first instance of Samsung Beauty Face being used huh?

I was trying to find some good remixes i could remember, that was a while ago but when the cassette singles came in cardboard I do remember there was always a b side with an instrumental and remix....tape cost like 2.99 for 4 versions of the same song but it was worth it....awesome thread
