entice Deion Sanders and his son to play at school.

In text messages revealed by the former governor of Mississippi, he throws Brett under the bus and includes texts that he was trying to court favor with Deion.

Brett Favre stated to the governor, who also is an alumni of the same school (University of South Mississippi) stated that Deion Sanders son "could be the best QB in the country" in order to get the governor to pledge more money to the school for an indoor football field.

His request didn't gain much traction with the governor but it does explain why Deion Sanders chose Jackson State University as his final choice for his son when he does not have any ties to the school. And makes you wonder if Deion Sanders actually spent his own money and how did he get funding.

Interesting Fact: Deion Sanders got a degree from Talladega College (an HBCU in Alabama) in 2020. The same year he started as head coach at Jackson State. He was quite busy that year

Damn I had no idea he has so much pull in Mississippi. Farve looking like the real mayor of the Sip

You'd be surprised how often athletes and politicians interact. Is it any surprise how Hershel Walker, a resident of Texas was plucked out of obscurity after a failed MMA career was used as a pawn against the democratic candidate who happens to be Black.

It's no coincidence that both Abrams and Hershel both lost in the same state Warnock won.
