Brandy Accuses Wanya (Boyz 2 Men) of Statutory R*pe In New Book

Oh we still hung out, more so after she graduated,

Not as much when she was in HS, but I did meet her mom's and her family... They still cool peoples

But as for us, I think it was something silly like the movies twice, then drop her off early cuz I was out late doing other shit... But we stayed in touch. And once she graduated and was a grown adult hanging out on her own, she tended to gravitate to where ever I was bouncing at the time... So that's pretty much how we've stayed in touch over the years...

Really haven't talked to her since I was let go at the restaurant, cuz I've mostly been in the house.
isnt this the same guy that stuffed a baby in a dresser for some pussy?

Shit, adults were the worst back in the 90's.

I remember my neighbor had one of the cleanest black Jaguar's I've ever seen. It was one of them classics.... Easily the dopest car on our block when I was a kid....I asked her could I take the Jaguar to my senior prom.

She was like only if I took her granddaughter. She was fucking 12. 😐

Now tht crazy part is that her granddaughter her entire life was always the prettiest girl in her class.... Like shorty was just pretty...still is, but no way wasi taking a middle schooler to my senior high prom.

My niggas legit told me in was stupid.... But I just was never with that shit.

nah

that's a lil weird my nigga

a 20yr old takin a 16yr old to the movies is suspect at best

but I digress
I mean, in my defense, I was still young, and it was really one of those "am I overreacting?" Moments...

I'm literally speaking to the topic of the thread, and telling y'all first hand, when you're known as a good dude... Parents and adults will push their young girls on you.... I've experienced it first hand multiple times...

Everybody was pretty much telling me it was cool, I just personally wasn't really feeling it... She was always a cool ass person...I just didn't really start hanging with her heavy until she could get ID'd at clubs. And I've always operated like that.. Which is why a lotta females feel safe around me cuz I'm not a creep ass dude.

But people will push girls onto men, which is a factor to how shit like Brandy and Wanya happened.

Damn, niggas share insight and immediately get judged. I

bruh

I've had mothers tryna push they daughters on me, even had a few grannies push they granddaughters

so I kno from experience

but when I jus graduated HS, maybe jus turned 19, I was at the mall & this young lady clearly wanted my attention

I approached her, get the number & we talked on the phone 2 or 3 days

when I asked how old she was I was thinking she was about 17, turns out she was 15

ended all communication right there

said all that to say this... at 20 you should kno that takin 16yr old out on a date to the movies is kinda ehhh

To which I'm saying I did.

I never was like, yeah this the shit...

I was like naw, but every one around me was encouraging it. This was of no fault of hers, cuz to her it was normal, I was the only reluctant. As to which I said,I stayed in touch.. And didn't really start kicking it with her till she started popping up at my clubs once she had id.

She still jokes I friendzoned her, but the reality is people often encourage this behavior. We just gotta be better at identifying it going forward.

We are talking about Brandy's parents brotha and who they at the time allowed their 16 year old daughter to date. Her parents were cool with it, that's them.

Why are you trying to control another motherfucker 16 year old teenager? Brotha she has a mom and a dad and if they were cool with the situation, then they were cool with it

You know how you live to be old, stay away from pork and mind your own business.

What I'm saying and been saying is that this shit was the norm
Brandy's parents were ok with this, others around brandy didn't say anything about the situation
This shit is how some of your grandmothers and granddads, mothers and fathers, uncles and aunts linked up
High school girls are fast and they need to be held accountable too.

Some people of yesterday were ok with it happening back then or they moved around. Some called the police and reported it.

That's how reality works, it was illegally on the books, yes, but guess what, the shit still went on, that's all that's being said from me.

You can pitchfork this shit to death, but the fact remains, the shit happened, this aint Disney Land

So you wasted time telling me what we all already know. Reality is the reason a lot of people don’t like it. But that’s a foreign concept

The most rape/predator/SAer is listed below.

1. Frat dudes (they all have SA women on college are seen their frats brothers do it) Every party I been to when I was younger they were SA girls the entire night

2. Musicians. They think they are bigger than kide

3. Military dudes. Every girl that’s been in the military has a story about them getting SA. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN

I ain't gonna lie. Her account sounds stupid. If a 16 y/o were saying that, I'd understand. For her to be in her 40s and giving that account sounds crazy to me. The whole "I had to have sex with him or I would lose him" mindset always bothers me. If those are the terms those are the terms. Either you love him enough to have sex even when you don't want to or you stick to your guns even if you lose him. Choosing the former doesn't make you a victim. I'm saying this outside of the statutory rape problem because I've seen grown women express the same sentiment.

Removing the statutory context is the only way what you're saying makes sense. And you can't remove that because that is the entire context of her story. Of course it sounds stupid because it was the mindset of a 16 year old. And they don't tend to be that bright. In what you quoted she literally says "I was young and inexperienced". And that lines up with a teenager making not smart decisions
