I remember when I was 20 and cool with this 16 year old chick at the airport.. I told her we couldn't date cuz she was still in high school. She came back to work the next day like her mom's said it was cool, and wanted to meet me.

Me and shorty stayed cool, hung out a little here there... But I still couldn't make no moves on her. The age gap just felt wrong. Even though her, all my peers, the old heads at the airport, and her mom's all said 4 years wasn't bad at all.. It just felt weird knowing I was about to turn 21 and she'd still be in high school.

Looking back I still don't know who was really right, I just know that while we remained friends... It never went further than that. Her mom's made a post on Facebook the other day cuz shorty just turned 40. I was like Happy bday, and her mom's DM's me her number. Like ma'am, I'm married.. How we still on this?

You were right. Her mom was and still clearly is on some weird shit. 1st trying to have her teenage daughter come at you. Then knowing you married still tossing it your way. You got all the proof you need you made the right decision
 
Yeah last time I saw/spoke to her she stopped by my bar when I was bartending one night.. She was telling me how she had to cut her mom off cuz she was getting too involved and siding with one her daughter's father's in a beef they had about the kid.. Mom's was always wild inappropriate.

Oh we still hung out, more so after she graduated,

Not as much when she was in HS, but I did meet her mom's and her family... They still cool peoples

But as for us, I think it was something silly like the movies twice, then drop her off early cuz I was out late doing other shit... But we stayed in touch. And once she graduated and was a grown adult hanging out on her own, she tended to gravitate to where ever I was bouncing at the time... So that's pretty much how we've stayed in touch over the years...

Really haven't talked to her since I was let go at the restaurant, cuz I've mostly been in the house.
