Boycotting The NFL

Football like my second favorite sport behind boxing...

Winning>>>>controversy

Naw, I'm still watching.

If Kap speaks up I might reconsider. But I'm not boycotting cuz a bunch of folk who don't watch football to begin with say so...

This^

Everybody and they mama saying Kap being blacked balled, except Kap himself.

Over the last year and half or so he hasn't exactly been shy about expressing his opinion about things. So if he felt he was being black balled wouldn't he had said something by now?

Plus my Cowboys bout to win that NFC East again. With that being said Fuck the Giants, them no-championship-having Eagles, and the sports world disgrace that is the sorry ass Deadskins.

Kap retweeted something the other day saying that his situation has nothing to do with money though or what he's asking for... He know what time it is.

I been a 9er fan my whole life but I can't even support them or the league right now. I lost respect for most of them as men when the majority of the team didn't have his back. Even if they didn't take a knee with him they could have said or done something to not only show some form of solidarity for Kap/their teammate but for Black people in America in general. He took a knee for injustice and almost everybody got scared and left him hanging.

There's no honor in that. It's shameful and when they look in the mirror as men they have to find a way to justify their own cowardice.

I look forward to seeing Lynch with the Raiders tho. He does alot for the neighborhood too.

On a scale of 1-10 how much do you fucks with NFL football on a normal season?

9.2 I would say back in 2014, but now it's done gotten to a 6.7. Will it be hard to not watch the games, yea, but something gotta shake. Lately though, the past 2-3 years the product has been doing down, so I'm almost to the point where I don't really care for it to much like how I use to. Each year I guess you can say it's becoming a non-factor thing for me to do.
I'll live through the ones that are still watching it.

I will also going to boycott MNF because they are using the Hamk Williams song again

If that isn't a slap in the face to black folks, I don't know what it is, and niggas will still be singing alone that lame ass "Are you ready for some football" smh

It's time to take a stand.

NY Giants owner said that bullshit about Kap and the letters he's gotten, but went to cover up the fact that his punter did what he did Lol... Shit is a joke.

Big ass plantation is what that shit is. Niggas are slaves and the shit is so obvious now.

My thing is when enough is enough, Why black folks don't understand what dude did was something that needed to get done.

Niggas didn't even know about the 3rd stanza in the star spangle banner and was proudly singing that shit, (some even crying) shit is a joke.

We won't as a ppl ever make a stance on something, we talk that whole we want this and that, but we not trying to show with actions on trying to achieve to get to that, this or that level.

He could be hinting at being black balled, or he could also be talking bout a team(s) not running a system that suits him.

The original tweet was a reference to Kap being blackballed. If it was in reference to finding a team that suits him that would've been mentioned, but it hasn't. No coach or teammates has said anything about Kap not fitting in with the "system" their running.

Has he even had the opportunity to suit up with other teams and practice for them to come to this conclusion?

Again, my whole position is I don't know specifics. Which is why it would be more real to me if kap spoke up directly.

To boycott off of an assumption is just futile IMO. Especially considering I really enjoy watching NFL.

Now if your interest in it has dropped lately,, or if you don't Watch at all..... Its easy as hell to say boycott it.... You ain't really sacrificing nothing significant.

Like I'd be crazy to tell people to boycott the NBA. Cuz I mean in reality they exploit black men just as much if not way more...

And again the truth is,, kap wasn't looking impressive his last few outings.....

I get what he was standing for, and that's whassup.... But its a reach to say that's why he ain't getting picked up considering dude ain't really that good to begin with

Nigga literally had one good year on a good team coming off the bench cuz the starting qb got hurt...

He never really looked good after that. I know cuz he was on my fantasy bench the entire next season.... And this was before the kneelifor i don't I don't kfor ...

I just feel a boycott is a bit much. especially under the condition of Kap getting signed....

Now if this was a few years ago... Boycott till Vick get signed, or AP....

I'm with it....

I might even had done one for ray rice....

But kap bum ass????
:idkb3:

He ain't even a starter

Sacrifice. Not everyone is willing to sacrifice. But as far as taking a stand collectively all at once, it doesn't need to be like that initially. We don't need to be distracted on those who won't do or those who aren't doing because when we focus our energy, time and resources on those who are doing something, that will continue to grow and more people will eventually support, especially if it's the right thing to do.

So if 4 people in the entire league sacrifice their careers to take a stand on something we need to be supporting those 4 people. I'll give an example with this thread. If the title was "How are you boycotting the NFL?" some people would've said how they on an individual level are going to "boycott" others would've went out of their way to say that they're not and how it'll never work. In the real world you only build with those who are doing something even if it's just one or two so those are the posters you continue the dialogue with everything else would be distraction.

Also we don't all need to be doing anything collectively as much as we all need to be doing something individually. When it comes down to any form of justice it comes down to what am I going to do about it. If it's boycotting and not watching on a personal level or on business level like a bar/restaurant not showing any of the games. Whatever the sacrifice is it starts on an individual level. How we individually act is how we will collectively act. If individually we do something then something will be done collectively.

By saying "we will never xyz... as a people" is subconsciously saying "I will never xyz as a person".

He's not even being considered as a back-up for anyone.
