I think he was speaking about twitter more than anything else.


Even still, I'm pretty sure he did his research.


Which really wouldn't require much work since all of their online data statistics are easily accessible.

twitter would have you thinking there are more people in reality that feel that way but its a select few who just so happen to have people that follow them and retweet the fuck out of some of the trashiest takes
 
In a nation of over 300 million, that has thousands of murders a year. 18 of those happened to be black & trans, and they consider it an epidemic, thats wild. But to get back on the thread topic, they see her folding and unless the next show is just all black trans women, they still wont be happy with anything she says or does.

Several black women have actually pointed that out though. There are legitimate issues that only black women face, some health issues for example. The need to try and include trans women on everything can lead to some of those issues being overlooked.

I hear you, but keep in mind that despite how much they get talked about, the number of trans people in the country is relatively small. Also, I presume those 18 were killed specifically because they were trans. There is a difference between people getting killed in a robbery and people being hunted and killed specifically because of who they are.

Of course id say its a problem if the bolded was true, but these are social media outrage activists we are speaking about. They dont look that closely. 99% of the time, all they look to see is if the person is black and trans.
In fact this also isnt my first time seeing someone write about black trans women murders. Their number was like 20 something from all over the country, not even a specific area. So when i see social media post like this, it just screams virtue signaling to me.
