Red definitely got more classics, more range, more impact, like you gotta be a deep hip hop head to even know the name black thought, let alone respect him..

Redman is hip hop 101.

Like if you do a evolution of wit displayed in hip hop, you gotta do whole chapters on Reggie..

Nigga straight defined the East coast for a hot second....

Again.... You ain't even gotta like hip hop and you know about red....

It was niggaz who been listening for decades and never heard of BT until that freestyle cuz it went viral..

Shit was dope, the nigga is nice

But Reggie is an icon.

Different levels.

Red literally brought def jam back by his damn self

I love Red but it's a whole lotta BS in this post

Black just brings more substance to the table. While I do enjoy Red sense of humor, wit, and wordplay ..... bar for bar, I'm rolling with Black

If it was simply note pad to note pad I'd go with BT but as many others say Red sales his lyrics much better than BT.

His personality and stage personality is really underrated and I recall an interview where Meth was saying how passionate and creative he is behind the camera

All that works in his favor to me. And his pen dope

I forget niggaz on this site infatuated with rhyming big words together.

I get it, it's cool when a rap is smart. But being really smart, and rapping on an intellectual level does not make you a nicer emcee.

This thing always been about charisma and rocking a crowd.

Red is charisma personified. The nigga crowd surfs at every concert.

I like black thought too.... The nigga nice with the words. But his music really only got a certain mood.

The roots are more jazz to me as far as I group music. And I love jazz. But when it comes to BT.... It's a certain vibe his music has.....

Red on the other hand just has different levels.... An consistently switches up on the vibe.

There's just more versatility, and more overall talent. BT can get boring at times. Red is anything but boring.

yall gonna stop disrespecting

shall i remind yall

aint no big words.
just Greatness.

the shit that make ya chick bootycheek bounce in the kitchen

im going back to drinking tea

Yall kind of buggin though.

BT isn't a ultra lyrical let me rhyme a bunch of big words together type of rapper.

He has incredible rhyme schemes and is very lyrical, but all his bars have depth and substance.

Im not mad Redman being rated higher than BT, but some of the criticisms yall making of BT shows yall dont really listen to him, which is cool, if yall dont like it yall dont like it, but its clear to see by some of the posts here who actually know what their talking about with BT.

I'm fairly certain if you put BT over redman Lupe in your top 5...

:smh:
