Black teen Nolan Wells is missing after hanging out with his white friends over the 4th of July weekend

Why hasn’t anyone posted this?

It's a fine article I guess. It doesn't prove anything one way or the other. It's literally just one of the friends under suspicion saying he didn't do anything.

I'm not saying he did but that article isn't really any more helpful than any other article. Hell, it mentioned a fight. Details about that might have been interesting, but they dedicated like 2 sentences to it and then spent the rest of the time bloviating.

Hopefully they do get to the bottom of things. I will say I understand the Crump suspicion. I actually think he's done good work, but now he's kinda become the go-to guy for racial issues. The fear in cases like this is always that the person will start pushing false narratives to keep themselves relevant. Sorta how the attorney with the Jay-Z accuser did.

The friend ain’t white tho

That’s the point.

Like I said, I'm not subscribing to the "He's dead because he had white friends" narrative without more proof. But one other black or mixed dude being in the story doesn't suddenly eliminate the racial dynamic here.

That said, I'm in the camp that thinks people should wait before jumping to conclusions on either side.

This video provides a detailed update on the tragic case of **Nolan Wells**, who disappeared on July 4th off the coast of *Mississippi*. The investigation is ongoing, and the family is seeking clarity amid conflicting information and unresolved questions.

**Key developments and findings discussed in the video:**

* **The "Katie" Contradiction:** For two weeks, a young woman known as *Katie* remained a mystery. While *Nolan's* friends claim he voluntarily stayed behind on *Horn Island* to be with her, *Katie's* account—shared via her mother, *Gracie McCormack*—states that *Nolan* intended to return to the boat. This direct conflict remains one of the most significant unresolved points in the investigation (0:22-0:47; 4:40-6:05).

* **GPS Boat Tracking:** New data from the *Mississippi Department of Marine Resources* tracks the boat's movements after it left *Horn Island* at 4:31 p.m. without *Nolan*. The boat made multiple stops, eventually ending up at a residence in *Biloxi* hours later, over 70 miles from the starting point. Investigators are still working to fully explain this sequence (13:00-14:13).

* **Official Investigation Updates:** As of July 15th, *Nolan's* parents have met with the *Jackson County District Attorney*. The investigation has moved toward a **grand jury referral** to review findings, though it is emphasized that this is a procedural step, not a verdict (14:55-15:45). The *FBI* is providing support, primarily regarding threats made to individuals connected to the case, rather than taking command of the investigation (15:53-16:20).

* **Evidence and Inconsistencies:** The video highlights several troubling discrepancies, including confusion over the color of *Nolan's* shorts (black vs. blue), a delay in retrieving his car keys, and unusual silence on his previously active *Snapchat* account in the 24 hours leading to his disappearance (7:14-10:55).

* **Correction of Misinformation:** The video clarifies that a widely circulated photo of *Nolan* at a pool party was taken on June 27th—a week before his death—and a viral video clip featured the voice of his friend *Tristan Shepard*, not *Nolan* (18:22-19:35).

As the family prepares for *Nolan's* homegoing celebration on July 20th, they remain focused on obtaining the truth, waiting for a joint inspection of his phone to potentially yield further answers (11:13-11:21; 17:09-18:06).
