I never saw this show. What was so wrong with her performance?

Her character was a mentally unhinged ex-cop with no feelings except for her daughter turned into a top police investigator who could and would fight anybody.

She flat out was trash in that role. Nothing about her in that role was believable. The show overall wasn't good. A good story line but the acting not just from her wasn't good.
