Same as most people...that he was connected to very powerful names who were worried he would out them if he ever got caught up so they did what they could to squash it

So what was different now though? He’s still connected now and even more connected and powerful now than he was in 96.

More exposure and people being able to read about the story and who he was. Dont overestimate how much the average person knows about shit unless it's directly connected to them or their folks. It's much easier for this information and these stories to spread now than it was in 1996.

I’d think it makes sense to off him back then as opposed to now. Some people may not have any more use for Epstein so he became exposable.
