Actually a few has basically said the bold though.
You were pretty reasonable earlier in this thread with your thoughts on this whole thing. I have to give credit where its due.
Thing is though is a lot people here are combining 2 issues into one and making wild dumb ass accusations against people based off of that. Which just further erodes a real conversation taking place.
IMO the 2 issues are: The courts broke laws to convict Cosby. A miscarriage of justice that was corrected.
The 2nd issue is people feeling like he is a rapist so even though laws were broken to convict since they he feel he admitted to rape in the deposition he should still be locked up and can't separate the 2 or refuse to separate the 2.
IMO acknowledging the court cheated and being glad a wrong was corrected isn't at the same time saying they're cool with folks being raped. One has nothing to do with the other.
It's a lot things I don't fuck with that people do regardless of that I'm not ok or ever will be ok with the courts breaking laws to lock those people up even if they did commit said crime.
Personally if a person is truly guilty and the courts can't prove it and a person took matters into their own hands. I wouldn't be mad if the prosecutor was like fuck it I ain't going to prosecute that person for getting get back on a guilty person who I couldn't actually prove was guilty. I'm 100% cool with that.
Just as you see the conflating of people saying that they don't care if the court broke the law they still wanna see him locked up there's also the hypocrisy of people who under no other circumstances accept the "well the court made this decision so that's ultimately what it is." Especially with so many questions surrounding the actual case. But now all of a sudden the courts word overpowers actual common sense ability to make a decision based on what's already known? That's some bullshit and thats why some who also see him as guilty are taken aback by people being so happy to see Cosby walk free claiming he's innocent
