Or there is a purposeful blurring of what rape actually is. Rape is rape: the forcible initiation of sex. Drugging someone is drugging someone: administering a foreign solution to someone without their knowledge or consent.

Sounds to me like he admitted to the latter but was convicted of the former.

The legal definition of rape is not as narrow as the bold and varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

Which is why I said the definition of rape is blurred. SOME people know the stigma effect of rape and want to broaden the definition to include something that happened to them.

That's like if I loved oak trees the way people love roses so I make a law that defines oak trees as a type of rose.
 
To be honest, I've forgotten a lot about this case.
But I think my main issue was with the way he was put on trial.
Even if he was guilty the way they went about it had left a window for an appeal.
And my Twitter feed had weekly updates with headlines leading up to this Since he'd been locked up.

So... good luck knowing you were a parrot of white folks trying to "lynch" this guy.

The legal definitions are written in the law of whatever jurisdiction you're in. I'm not speaking about what people think rape is or isn't. I'm talking about the law of the land. You posted a dictionary definition of rape that doesn't encompass all of what rape is legally, in a lot of states. So I informed you that the actual legal definitions of rape aren't that narrow in a lot of cases.
