This was the era of the groups, only Cube and Snoop really stood out as consistent solo stars. Hammer had his time but didn't maintain it. Nas, Mef, BIG and Pac were just coming up. Great time in hip hop, but not too much going on.

And y'all sleeping on Kid N Play. They had a whole movie franchise to themselves.
