I posted overall FG because shooting is more than 3s. Bird played in a time where the 3 was still catching on in the league, and was seen more as a sideshow gimmick, then a real tool in a shooter’s arsenal. He was still the better overall shooter because he took smarter shots, and wasn’t gunning all over the floor every night trying to get his stats up.
Klay is a volume shooter; Steph too, to a degree. I got money that says if you limited them to less than 8 3PAs per game, neither would crack the top 15 shooters of all time, %-wise.
