OUT NOW Battlefield 6

Added to Calendar: 10-10-25

Ran 3 games.. not bad not bad, got whopped though. Game speed is slower the BF but way more realistic which I prefer, only played on the smaller maps.
 
Played a few games of domination

Nice small maps. Lots of gunplay. Didn't run into any camping issues at all. I already know the shotgun is gonna get nerfed so I'm not tripping when I get killed by someone using it

Destruction is just right. Not all buildings get destroyed but just enough to break cover around flags

My super aggressiveness continues to plague me so I just need to be more patient and learn the maps.

Yep I can see that Shotgun getting nerfed. Played conquest.. that shit was mayhem as you can expect. Vehicles seem to be easier to destroy now then previous ones as far as I can remember. Still can’t snipe for shit but other figured it out and was popping the hell out of me 😂. Building damage is on point IMO, more or less the walls get destroyed from the most part from what I could tell and not just the whole building collapsing. Currently playing on XB1 but when its released Ill be playing on PS5 since I prefer that controller more.

Yea that shit is getting nerfed

Hadn't played in so long I'm like there are so many damn settings to configure

Need to check out the controls because R1 used to call out enemies and highlight them on the map but that's a grenade now
 
I hate the way the gun shoots even with the silencer still sounded like a pop going off. Every gun sounds the same

Need a compass.

I think if I fine tune the controller settings I'll be able to dial it in.

The sniper rifle is cool. The rocket where it locks on is overpowered as hell. Shot it one time at a chopper and it took it down.

And when you kill people depending on what you hit em with they fly like a 100 feet away

If I'm using a assault rifle it should not take 14-16 bullets to take em down even using the sub machine gun it took a lot of bullets and that's with the gun maxed out.
 
Guns felt weird to shoot

There was little to no haptic feedback

I didn’t play a lot of the beta

But kinda didn’t feel the need to

I see what people meant by it feeling like a mix of COD and battlefield

It’s a bit too fast but maybe I just need to adjust over time

the grenades were too slow in 2042 but in this it’s kinda crazy how easy it is to just flick one out there

The last two days were alot better because the servers early wete trash will definitely get back on this weekend had fun i prefer modes without vehicles so hopefully squad tdm is part of then next beta feels infinitely better than 2042 did this will be onnmy radar actually leaning towards it

Just found out you have to go into the settings to turn the compass on
 
You can customize the hell outta the settings. That's nice but also tedious. I need to figure out the buttons

Would be cool if you could blow off the tank chains if you hit it with a rocket or something. Make it immobile. Maybe you can and I haven't noticed it

Someone sniped the shit outta me and I had to just nod at it. It was a great head shot from across the map

Saw a recon with the spawn in enemy territory and near enemies and for some reason I thought people were boosting lol

Was in this match where we just dominated in the city map. Ended up just spawn trapping them lol

I don't know if it's a faster pace or people were just rushing from excitement and not planning their attacks

If you in a tank and you start get hit it will definitely slow down. But if they throw c4 on the back you gone and you have to watch out for the tank mines.
 
I do like when you are playing domination and it'll show you how many people are trying to get the flag though
