The few times I tried to watch a stream on twitch it asked for payment

lol nah twitch is free.. but you can subscribe to a channel for $5 a month. It's possible they gate the battles behind subscriptions because idk how battle rap content is going to clear twitch terms of service, they are heavy on censorship. Sounds questionable to me.
