I was explaining to ATL nigga that mad liquor stores in Baltimore have a bar in the back that you can sit down and drink at. Which is why we often call a liquor store the bar.... The person at the register will come in the back, and bartend you then go back to the liquor store.

Bro was flabbergasted. I had no idea this was a Baltimore thing. I thought it was normal

I bet you all 3 if those liquor stores have bars in the back though. I've never been in any of them, cuz I'm not from those hoods....

Actually that pimlico and Wylie was by a chicks apartment I was cool with....I sat in the car while she ran in to get some drinks and blunts

Damn, niggas took offense to you and the camera???

When i was taking pics, there was a nigga standing in front of the liquor store. I didn't know he was there, I was just shooting. All of a sudden a car full of niggas pulls up from behind me, the nigga opens the window like "why are you taking pictures of us". Then he yelled to some other niggas in another car to block me in with his car to make sure i don't leave. Luckily one of the other dudes he called was cool. He checked out my camera and saw I was a real photographer and told the other nigga to chill. I can tell the nigga who initiated the whole shit was just looking for a reason to shoot a nigga 😂

I was strapped too. But they had me blocked in, so I was just trying to deescalate the situation.

Fuuuuuuuuck. That shit coulda went sideways at any moment.

But, see, it's shit like this why I don't take my camera to Detroit very often. If I know I'mma be downtown or off to the side in Corktown, then yeah 'cause police is heavy and folks are out there to have a good time, so it's chill. But away from that? Highland Park, all of the east side, Mexicantown and SE Detroit, or west side spots like Brightmoor??? Fuck nawl. I ain't trying to be in a similar situation. And I'd love to photograph The City but it just ain't safe unless I'm doing it on the sly with a cellphone from my car.

Yeah this definitely ain’t normal lol

Im sure there are variants of the accent but the dudes from 'Making a Murder' was horrific...

Like the American version of UK's Birmingham/West Midlands...

How could I forget about Wisconsin accents....lol. I'm literally on the phone w/ business associates from Manitowoc several days a week...some of who personally know the people from Making a Murder. I've been up there to that pub right across the street from the courthouse where that shit was going on. They're some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, but yeah....that WI accent is crazy..lol.
