Hip hop doesn’t even understand how big these artists are. Their race plays a part, but imo the unity they show and their willingness to do so many records together is the real factor.

Reggaetón is my favortie genre so I understand exactly what you mean. I'm fluent in Spanish because of my love for the music. Reggaeton is huge, Spanish is the main language spoken in over 20+ countries, so this music travels very quickly. And I applaud the way the artists collaborate and make joint records, its truly beautiful to see. But its sad that they dont get the proper recognition in the US.
