Nah they didn’t I’m speculating why he’s still around though

they are in a foreign place so it kinda makes sense to have someone who’s from there be with you

Socks is just a means for a character break thru...

Kinda like how Earn got his ass whooped by Tracy...

Tracy was a random ass character that was just around, until earn challenged him to the 1v1.... And got his ass whooped.... It was a pretty big part of his characters development, and without looking too deep into it, I think that's the whole reason Tracy was there..... Just to give Earn that moment.

Socks is prolly going to have a similar dramatic altercation with one of the guys that will be pretty intense for this show..... Or not 🤷🏿‍♂️

That's where I think they going with him.. but I could be wrong too.... this show is great at being random

Socks is the antagonist to this season and that was proven when he casually threw the phone away.

That the season started with a monologue on what it means to be white and that the crew is now confronting an interloper who has weaponized white outrage to gain access does not seem coincidental.

Socks was able to hijack Darius's experience and in turn show more anger than the supposed aggreived party, join the tour despite being disliked, and now steal from the artist without even being considered for the theft. All displays of his white privliage.
 
lol white people as a collective are the antagonist this season

Episode 1 - The foster parents
Episode 2 - The crazy rich white guy whose family made their fortune offa slavery.. who cant be bothered to pay his debts when he loses
Episode 3 - White people fighting with the thought of having to pay back their ill gotten gains
Episode 4 - White dude steals from Paper Boi and tossing his inspiration and means of creativity in the trash for seemingly no fuckin reason all the while acting like he was on their side and just as outraged that the shit was missing

I get all of this, but it makes no sense for them to just let him ride. But I’ll hold out judgement until all is revealed.
