Teen takeover in downtown Detroit was taken over by Detroit Police. Apparently it was happening all day yesterday. One of my boys that lives downtown recorded cops rolling up on a takeover yesterday afternoon.

There's still some community rec centers in Tha D, but not nearly as many as when I was a kid growing up there, but hearing them talk about creating venues for kids to have an outlet at least acknowledges that they were good for the kids and is a good step in the right direction.
