I wasn't really too concerned when my girls got social media accts. I think as long as you have a good line of communication and your kids feel like they can tell you anything, things will be okay. They understood the dangers of sending noods for them and others, legal or otherwise. Any freaky shit they may have encountered on social media they showed me anyway and then we talked about it. I think always being honest and straight forward with my girls helped a lot. Besides, most the fucked up shit they've seen on the internet was cuz I showed them.
