hey let's not get distracted by the cigarette argument and ignore the fact that RJ Reynolds was paying Al Sharpton to conflate a menthol cigarette ban with civil rights issues up to and probably including the article in the OP.
We all know cigarettes are bad but that's not the elephant in this room.
That's almost a personal choice too. Most places have rules against smoking doors and the proximity from which you can smoke near entrances to buildings. So unless you're a child and have no say, you shouldn't be hanging around and soaking up second hand smoke.
