Losing a war where it actually affects American soil and our day to day lives on a massive level. I highly doubt that if Iran or any other country were to attack US soil, there would be cheers and "Oh well thats what we get" from even the people who are anti-administration. It may be warranted, but I doubt that would be the sentiment in the immediate aftermath

Yes. Being better off doesn't mean without flaws. Doesn't mean there still isn't corrupt things going on that affects the lives of Black people here who been oppressed since before America was America and continue to be.

No. As a kid I was cuz my birthday but about some time later I learned about slavery and shady shit America did. But never had anything patriotic after 13

When I thinking oppressed, I'm broadly thinking like slavery and stuff. Still I'm not rooting for America to fail with the recent things that's been going on.

It's a bunch of Kyrie Irvings in this forum. No way I'm rooting for Maduro, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Iranian Regime lol

You can literally see the effects of slavery, reconstruction, and Jim Crow today in 2026. So even with your broad pov, there are clear signs of oppression very much visible. Pointing out the glaring flaws in America doesn't mean you want it fail. It means you're not someone drinking propaganda about how perfect a country they want you to think it is. You might wanna put that propaganda cup down yourself.

Well not necessarily against them, that was not the best wording in my last post. My initial post/point was about not rooting for them. I don't think we should be involved there whatsoever.

You're entitled to that. It's not reality though. And yeah you're basically trying to minimize what people here go through here because other countries have it worse. And that's just a bad argument considering the history and present of this country

I'm not minimizing when those same people from those countries living in America are calling out Americans hypocrisy for blindly supporting the opps. Yeah America has been through hell. That makes America Great because of what we become and achieved and continue to innovate.
