I don't know why people keep saying stuff like this. Black people have never got together on holidays because we care about the holidays (outside of the religious ones). We just like cooking, eating, and hanging out together and the holidays are the most opportune time to do that. It's just like when people claim celebrating Thanksgiving is celebrating Native American genocide. For who? When is the last time you been to a Black person's house on Thanksgiving and heard or seen anything related to Natives or Pilgrims?

On topic, I'm not and never was patriotic, and now I'm on the verge of being anti-American.
 
Nope won’t catch me wearing anything with or waving an American flag around but I also will stand up for the National Anthem and be graceful for those that put their lives on the line in the military but I won’t sit here and act like living in America’s is all peaches and creme either..shit continues to be rough for us blacks…better especially compare to other countries but racism didn’t just disappear.
 
When I see the flags or some overly patriotic people then yea I assume they're maga

I'm patriotic in the sense I support the troops and other things fuck this criminal cultist political climate

Define patriotic?

I believe int he constitution, which has been shitted on by this trash admin time and time again. I believe in truth and justice for all and I am a huge supporter of our civil rights.

I do not own any flag and never will. I do not care about standing for the flag, I care about the people that it is supposed to protect and I do root for team USA too.

Waving a flag and standing for the anthem when you are racist, a bigot, against constitutional rights etc make you none patriotic.

That term is a dog whistle now pushing an agenda, but it has never meant anything in particular honestly.

We have the most unpatriotic president int he white house right now acting like an orange mob boss with his bitch ass.

You can do all the ancestry you want... Claiming an African country that you or no one in your family has ever been to, knows no one from, or has no influence in your life will never go well.

But saying you're a black American makes you a coon or "patriotic"??

I guess that's all across social media. It's definitely weird because it doesn't reflect what the people in those other countries actually feel. So, there's a lot of misinformation going on.

It has never fully lived up to the morals, principles, and values it claims to stand for.
