Back when I was a steelworker, I used to work with this dude. The plant was in an area of southeast michigan known as downriver which is one huge area made up of a cluster of smaller cities. Its a majority white conservative area but mexicantown is a stones throw away and it borders detroit. Its a more conservative area so it would be uncommon for the whites to be assholes. I say this because this white dude I used to work with was cool as shit. Never bothered anyone and even used to bring in food for people.
