It's actually surprisingly good considering the challenge of adapting the subject matter. It's a little slow when it doesn't need to be but not as slow as say Raised By Wolves. My only issue with it is they're treating the storyline as if they have however many seasons to tell the tale but in reality they need to get some people to actually know the show exists based on the budget they're throwing at it if they want to finish even book 1.
