How many of these are you didn’t know and then when you found out you stayed friends?
My best friend's little brother transitioned to female. She's still cool peoples. Like family. Coincidentally was dating my father's gay stepson.

Coworker from Best Buy transitioned. I used to call them my daughter. But always referred to them as them. But for whatever reason they were cool with being called my work daughter. They were born a girl, but was a trans/man. There's a picture of us still posted in best buy under a collage someone made to celebrate the whole work/family dynamic.

Several coworkers at the restaurant were trans. It was pretty common. All really cool. They got along well with me simply because of how accepting I was considering straight black men are normally stand off ish with trans folks.

Two dudes and a chick from my high school transitioned. We're all still pretty cool

And one of my best friends decided a few years ago she was going to transition to a man. We've all been supportive. Saw them last Friday, a bunch of us were getting together, and they reached out to make sure me and my wife were coming.

You lost me

Did you meet anybody after transitioning and you became friends?

I honestly don't know how to answer this cuz it's not the same for everyone. A lotta people who identify as trans don't get surgeries or take hormones. But they have transitioned.

So I've met transitioned people, but they still look like their birth sex, and it caused no issues. My work daughter was born a female, looks like a female, but has been presenting as a trans male for a few years now.

The only two that caught me off guard were two that were born male, I knew them as male.. But years later they transitioned to female, and I didn't even recognize them.

So I've definitely met queer people and became friends with them. And they identify as trans. But those typically look like what they were born as.

Explain this part to me. So when you say she looks like a female still but presents as a trans man, what's that mean exactly? Does that mean she dresses in male clothing and culturally presents herself as a masculine, but physically hasn't had any surgeries or taken any hormones and shit? Or am I off?

How
And that's exactly how we became cool. Like exactly.

Do you NEED to know? It's their life, leave then TF alone. They already did an interview to get hired.

Yeah I’m just asking were they trans when you met them that’s it

My homegirl got a penis

:sup:

I'm definitely an ally, cuz I don't like that people feel entitled to know their sex life.

Like no one would ask me what me and my wife do in the bed room. They have no idea what kinda shit we get into, and wouldn't know. They don't know shit about shit.

But the second a queer person presents themselves, people got mad intrusive questions.

Like the best buy example, our friendship was born, because like 3 guys were asking them about the relationship between them and their boyfriend at the time. Who was also queer, understood that they were trans .. But they were happy and weren't hurting anybody. But niggas wanted to know how it worked.

And I just got highly agitated like....."why the fuck does it matter?" And I said the same thing I said here

"Don't none of y'all niggas got the balls to ask me what my wife and I do in the bedroom, so why the fuck y'all questioning these kids? Grow the fuck up and mind y'all business"

After that.... They were officially known as my daughter, and no body questioned them again
