Anybody been to a sundown town during the day?

Yeah, bought a Mustang from one of my coworkers that lived in a fairly notorious sundown town out here. Went to pick it up after work, got out of town immediately.

Most sundown towns in SC, you aren’t bothered unless you over stay your welcome or don’t recognize where you’re at.

To me is almost the exact same as being in a hood in a town you’re not from. There’s folks that will immediately take an opportunity to lean on you.

And you better hope there’s logical minded people around that are gonna tell them to chill. But you know when you walk into certain places, that’s somewhere you absolutely shouldn’t be.

If you travel enough, you’re gonna know what gas stations to stop at. And don’t trust someone that says they are from there and they’ll hold you down.

They aren’t gonna hold down shit

Now that you mention it...if we know they are sundown towns, how do they still exist?
I”ll do you one better

If people who sell drugs know that selling them out of a certain house is literally a trap. To which they literally call it a trap house.

How do they still exist?

That's not the same. The trap is basically a community health center, depending who you ask. There is profit in the trap.

Who is making money from sundown towns? Are these towns nearby medical centers popular for organ transplants?

Yeah when me and my coworker had to drive to Alabama for a delivery back in the day. It was either Gadsen, Boaz or Rainbow City.

Yep lol I’m from the south and traveled all over the place for work, you’ll peep shit and realize awl hell it one of them towns 😂 … never bothered me since I conceal carry I just know I’m not going out without a fight you might outnumber me but you won’t ambush me without someone else going down along side me.
