No, but a skinny white chick tried to recruit me to attend one when I was coming out of Kroger.

I wasn't being targeted or anything, she was talking to anyone she could about some event they were having on the weekend.

This was about 4-5 months ago.


Think she was a true believer because, if she was more seasoned, I don't think she'd be trying to recruit a black person.
 
No i was inside a Mormon girl when I was in highschool though. Not Mormon like the girls in those grey skirts and white shirts, but she was Mormon enough that she would get scorned by her parents if they saw her drink soda. Apparently soda is against the rules of mormonism.

They'd get scorned over soda???

And they wonder why so many of them rebel when they get old enough to leave.
 
Boy… I got stories.

My wife grew up LDS. When I was dating her the only way I could get on her mom’s good side was to go to church with them. It wasn’t horrible, just different cuz I’m used to Catholic mass and shit.

They go out their way to recruit black people, I know that for a fact. You’d be surprised how many are Mormon and I’m not talkin “married to a white person so that’s how I got here” kinda circumstances.
