I'm at the point where I'm gonna want to start prototyping some shit I'm working on and a 3D printer really is the best solution. Any of y'all got one? What are you doing with it? How durable is the stuff you're printing with it?

I'mma be busy 'cause I got this shit I gotta get outta my head and into reality. There's money to be made, plus the shit might pop off after the next president is sworn in.

it's in a bunch of notebooks. Theory, block schematics, parts that need to be sourced, sketches... I'm old school so I write everything out, same as I did when I was a teenager building shit.
 
The ones we have are resin based. Very durable material.

You need a proper space to use it tho. A lot of fumes and resin waste. If I had a house like my guy I would have been killing it during the pandemic. He's been eating nicely off his builds.

I just saw a commercial on Youtube talmbout adding carbon fiber to your 3D builds. For my applications that shit would be dope.

Depends on the machine. Some take various materials. Like the ones we got you can only feed resin to the machine.

You know, there's cheap 3D printers, right? Like $200-$300. I've even seen a super cheap Chinese joint for $95. I also saw a working review of it... Shit ain't that good at all, but it's there for people that want to stick their toe in the water.

I don't want the last image of that person to be them laying in a coffin. Plus I don't like seeing people in pain like that. Same reason!!! I want my last image of a person when they are happy and well. I even hate visiting people in hospice and hospitals because I don’t want that image.
