Baby Showers have meatballs of some sort and cupcakes. At a BBQ, that chicken is grilled.

Plus, my dad has been a pastor for 25 years, and I grew up in the church. I’m pretty sure I’ve had this very dinner 200 times in my childhood.

Fried Chicken seems strange for a BBQ when there's a whole grill going.
Come to think of it, we don't fry chicken like that at cookouts.
It's usually boiled meat or bbq.
