Ok, these episodes were dope. I actually liked episode 9 better than 8.

When he told Mon welcome to the rebellion I was like “hell yeah!”

I really wish they could have gotten Jimmy Smits to play Organa. Those scenes with Organa would have hit a lot harder just because of the familiar face.

I appreciate this show giving Star Wars real depth

(Atleast as far as live action)

Maybe this franchise works better as a drama instead of adventure action
 
It kinda makes what Favreau and Filoni do with Star Wars look like amateur hour. Like if you didn't like the characters from the animated show, did anyone come out of Ahsoka being like I love these characters and how they're written

I think I was a good judge of ahsoka as I never saw rebels outside of a few eps

Everybody including myself liked baylan skoll because I think we knew the character was intriguing and the actor did a great job (RIP) nothing else really jumped out for me. No other characters I liked or acting performances

Shin was cool but then she lost her intrigue imo

but to be fair season 1 of ahsoka was only 8 eps andor is benefitting from 12 and 10 ep seasons

So there’s 2-4 more episodes of depth and development not there

So maybe I should stop being so harsh on the other shows but I will say as far as Mando my issue was if mando is gonna be faceless mostly and grogu doesn’t speak fucking English you need the side characters to be GREAT and like inori pointed out ppl don’t even remember most of their names

Even I don’t know what Carl weathers’ name was lmao but andor from a quality standpoint is just on a diff tier

I think they need to have 1 flagship show going forward and 1 lesser show like skeleton crew

Both shows should be atleast 3 seasons with atleast 10 eps that way resources can be focused more

Looking back on it they had like mando season 2 andor, kenobi, boba fett, etc kinda close to each other

Just focus on 2 shows and the animation which hits everytime
 
I fuck with all of it and Im honestly not expecting ALL of these shows to be in the same serious vein. Sure we gonna get some ridiculous shit like what Beta posted earlier (I completely forgot about that bullshit btw smfh)

My thing is I want the WRITING and EXECUTION to be on this tier.

Not neon fuckin scooty bikes. I enjoy them all for what they are tho overall

bring back the acolyte gotdamnit and let them course correct
 
Yea, my hope is Filoni learns from Season 1 (this is his first forte in live-action, I think?). People been wanting Ahsoka to be played by Rosario Dawson for years only for her to not radiate that Ahsoka energy
