As a spectacle/entertainment i found it boring

But i appreciate the substance of what was being communicated .... it was necessary... adds dimension to purportedly "black" media
 
The whole movie is the shining example of “fake it till you make it.”

A book version of CB4. Pretty funny, tho.

Movie was meh


There were some chuckles yeah and the social and family commentary were interesting... But Tracee was wasted and so was Issa kinda, not a lot of screen time for both

Wright's performance was great, but Sterling Brown...I think he only got the Oscar nom because he's playing a gay black guy. Sidenote, that's like 2 movies in a row now he playing a dl black man, this and that Honk for Jesus flick. I thought he was married with kids

Funny how Hollywood is pushing this movie for Oscar season but not a 1000 and 1 or They Cloned Tyrone
