I think I brought this up before but I saw a video from a chick that worked in DEI. She said that Reps had done a good job with their messaging because most people associate DEI with black people. That's why Trump and the Reps don't get much pushback. Whites and other groups didn't care about the war on DEI because they thought only black people were being hurt. She said she got a lot of nonblack. people coming to her confused when they were losing their jobs too.

I'm not arguing whether or not it's divide and conquer. Of course, it is. The point being made is that DEI has been tied more closely to black people intentionally. That's not to say that Latinos or Arabs can't take offense to it. They can and should. It's just that Reps have been more intentional about tying it to black people because when you do that, white people will be against it, but so will other minorities. The woman I referenced was saying that she's seen that in real life in her profession.

I hate dulles with a passion. If you on the Maryland side, it can easily take you 2 hrs to get there if there is traffic. I always try to go to bwi or Regan. The metro comes in clutch on my return flight.

Depends on when your flight is. Ive flown out of Dulles but when i fly I tend to do early morning flights so there's no traffic on the roads and I can get to Dulles I'm under an hr.

Depends on when your flight is. Ive flown out of Dulles but when i fly I tend to do early morning flights so there's no traffic on the roads and I can get to Dulles I'm under an hr.

I would have to be on the road by 5am. I'm closer to laurel. I have to go through Rockville, which is also terrible in the morning. Distance wise, that way is shorter. Going through 495 is longer in distance but I can get to dulles faster because it skips the road construction

I'm in Hyattsville. I was legit shocked at how quickly I got from there to Dulles last time I flew out of there. I still prefer National (I'm one of the people who refuse to call that airport the new name) or BWI. But Dulles ain't that bad if you've got an early morning flight.
