If that's what she really said then it can't be her saying Lestats thoughts. He wouldn't know about Amel at that time
Yeah, I'm now thinking it was more like a Leeloo Dallas downloading of everything going on thru history.

So many different speculations

Lol still hoping she's not always going to sound like that
Well, I did recently see she said she was using an East African accent that would be used in the region her character is from.

You told me before that you got to collaborate on Akasha’s characterization and appearance. What are some specific contributions you made, and what did you feel was really important to include?

The main thing was just how she sounds, her accent. And the hair as well. The hair was a conversation and both of those things were references from ancient Kemet, ancient Egypt, some of modern day Egypt and East Africa, some of the Middle Eastern parts of the world. That was really important to me to ground Akasha both in a time, at least when we see her this time, of course. If we see her in the future, then she will be in the present day.

Who is Amel?
Short answer: the name of the spirit that merged with Akasha to create vampires

Long answer: in this fucked up universe, there's a race of beings that are like creators.... They're bird like, and extremely powerful. I only read the book once, but I'm the book Atlantis, they get a whole story that's pretty much they were watching weather Earth, and Amel decided to go onto the planet to get a better up close and personal view of what a going on, and throughout his adventures, he basically went ghost as he fell in love with humans and developed a whole society that worshipped him. I forget how, but he was eventually killed... But his spirit went on.... But because he was never human, his spirit was unlike other spirits.... And his love of humans translated to a love of blood as a spirit. The rest of the spirits were afraid of him, and told the witches not to mess with him, but when Akasha started beefing with the twins and had them raped... They sent Amel after her. Akasha had a lotta enemies.... Cuz she was crazy....and when her enemies came to kill her, Amel also joined the battle, and started drinking her blood as she bleed to death... Making her the first vampire. And she essentially felt she was chosen to be a goddess and went extra crazy.

Even that's a short history of Amel.... It's way more convoluted. But Amel loves Lestat.... He really feels they are kindred spirits. It gets way crazier later, but I doubt this show goes on for 20 years.. They are going to have to change things for the show. But long Story short... He's the spirit that merged with Akasha to create vampires.

That's interesting. I hope she has an accent or something

Up until now, Armand has been the most powerful vampire we’ve seen in the series because of age. The scope of his ancient power is shown through his eyes shaking when he’s angry and his telekinetic and telepathic abilities. Akasha is the most powerful vampire of them all, so figuring out how to show her physical prowess was a big topic of discussion on set.

“That was one of the things that, when I reached Toronto, the writers said, ‘We’ve got to figure out how to make you more powerful than these guys,’ because there’s a lot going on in terms of how their power manifests,” Atim shares. “One of the extraordinary things about Episode 5 is Akasha is still partly frozen to this table, but Lestat is just spinning in the air uncontrollably.”
I don't know how they do it but I hope they show how powerful she is

I feel like some of that mightve been Lestat.. some of it her..

Lestat particularly on the the in my eyes desire... why is she kept, why must she be kept, why in this place. The piece about why are they throwing stones and curled on the ground I kinda felt like was Lestats thoughts on the witch burning his mom took him to

The desire could be the blood and vampires wanting to drink it. I think she was questioning that when she was turned if I remember right. I also think that's about the line "and why Amel in their mouth." She sees Amel in the blood
