He barely trained Lestat for keeping Akasha before leaving. Then he took her from him the first time he fucked up in what seems like somewhere between 10-20 years.....

As a result, Lestat went to America and started all that dumb shit.... Louis and Claudia go to Paris and run into Armand... And all that shit happened...

At any point in time, Marius could have stepped in and told them to all chill....

Claudia probably would have LOVED taking care of Akasha.... She just wanted a purpose. Marius could have saved everybody.... None of this shit should have went down.
