These guys put out solid reviews. And they read the books multiple times

What’s the premise of night island?
I'm the novels, present day or whatever, Armand controls an island that is essentially the home base for his current coven and a recognized safe space for vampires the world over.

Basically , if there are any vampires without a home, they are always welcome there. I might be wrong, but that's where they all assembled to strategize against Akasha....

The TV show again... If I recall is supposed to be a AMC "what if" human criminals snuck on the island to steal shit not believing the rumors

That sounds fire. I hope it gets made. Off topic I just finished rewatching season 2 in like a day lol. Man I forgot how superb that season was.

Yeah, sneaking onto Armands Island to steal some shit sounds right out of a horror movie. RIP to those guys in advance

Akasha=Thanos

Like, y'all really not ready. I hope they do this right, because she is everything. I'm guessing that's why Armand lost his eye, and Louis his leg.

AMC has to top this scene, like this is the bar..... Even people who hate this movie, love this scene. And so far AMC has eclipsed, (at least in my opinion) everything in the movies.... When Akasha reveals herself, I want to be speechless. I want to say what the fuck. I want her to be terrifying

I’m really eager to see this new actresses interpretation of Akasha. I’m wondering when in this season she’ll first make an appearance

I heard a rumor episode 4, but I think that's way too early. It should just be episode 6, and that should be it. Show up, wreck shit, get outta there.

All episode 7 everybody tryna figure out what the fuck just happened

To me anytime this season would be too early

After first watch ..

And I'll watch again.... This was a good slow down. I like how they set up Louis side quest. The lawyer meeting wasn't as funny as I thought it would be from the trailers.... But it was still fun to watch Louis troll Lestat.

Christine is a real one. Gabriella is going to make people cringe, but I think she's essential to the self discovery, and I'm eager to see her and Louis interact with each other.

There was a David Talbot mention..... But it sounded like he was killed.... Which leads me to believe Daniel being the David replacement is accurate.

They really cram a lot into these episodes. I don't know if I feel like they're rushed or not. They are moving along pretty fast without dwelling on much. The wolf hunt was very significant in the books.....I feel like they almost glossed past it....I can't tell if it felt like a big deal if you didn't read..... But it was a very big deal in his life. The episode definitely illustrated that, but I don't feel like it really spent enough time really driving it home.

The locals made him a coat with the wolf pelt.... He was wearing it in season 2 when he was in Paris with Nicki... So maybe they circle back to the wolf kill..... But that was a big deal that could easily be overlooked if you didn't know to pay attention to it.

But yeah, saying agent Talbot, like he was already dead was kinda wild
