My favorite YouTuber in this was the chick from New Orleans Ellbee... She had me crying laughing at Claudia's repass....she was like there was a little photo of Madeline on a stand next to the flowers.

Aye @Duwop since Armand is pretty old and never made anybody so far outside of Daniel, shouldnt that make Daniel pretty powerful or is that not how it works?

That's definitely how it works. Thing is that books never used Daniel much..... Essentially young Daniel is the only Daniel in the books.... Armand turned young Daniel into a vampire. There's a whole side story about young Daniel and Armand called the devil's minion.

It's a fan favorite, and the show runners have borrowed some of it a we saw in season 2, but old Daniel is all AMC I have no idea where they are going with him.

I have one theory, but it's a reach, and too much has already changed for it to go that way...

Depends on how Lestat tells his life story. She's a major part of the Marius story. Who imo will always be the main villain.

Even Louis and Daniel all look up to him as a fatherly figure, and he could have stopped any of this shit at any time, he just watched. He doesn't get involved until it's too late... But that's when shit gets really really really good.

AMC needs to do Marius justice more than any character from that movie.... If Marius does his job in the show correctly....Akasha will be set up like a force of nature
 
How could I forget he turned Daniel just that quick

I thought that was interesting being that he so old but after reading du posts, I'm interested in the direction they choose to go
 
Yeah, there's no real template for AMC Daniel...

I mean there are small things from the books they could use... But it still doesn't let us know what direction his story is going in.


So if interview was 2 seasons, I expect TVL to be 2 seasons...

And the devil's minion wasn't until book 3.....

So none of this is really show spoilers.... Mainly because now that Daniel is a main character they've had to borrow from that chapter. The whole Armand torturing him in the hotel room in season 2, that was a bulk of it.
