@Duwop I see they touched on the wolf pelt jacket thing you mentioned. I wonder if they are going to show more of Magnus before the season wraps

I love your they simultaneously take a departure from the books while still touching on major themes and components.

This is definitely their boldest season. I can see more book fans giving up on this. Some of them are so angry it doesn't follow the books page to page. This is easily the furthest they strayed

They changed elements of Nickis death
Everything Gabriella is doing
Lestat faking the interview
Him hallucinating Magnus
The Great conversion being mentioned
Louis revenge tour
Louis seeing the Claudia doppelganger
Armand and the band member at AA

All of those things are 100% AMC and not in the books at all..

I still love it though. Great episode.

seems like we are getting an Armand centered episode next week. Maybe Nickis death plays out different from his perspective.

That is one thing that I enjoy that this show does is the differences in how shit plays out depending on who is telling the story lol

I LOVE this.... Is so books and the attention to detail to not fuck it up takes crazy skill. They put so much thought and effort into this show. It's anything but lazy
 
You would think Lestat would want Armand dead.. thats twice now he done burned people that Lestat made - Nicki and again with Claudia.

Though Lestat probably shouldnt have made them in the first place.. but still. Armand probably saw it as cleaning up Lestats mess
 
The audio felt a bit jumbled to me when Louis was reading Claudias pages but you could see the parallels they were drawing between how killer violated Claudia and how magnus violated and turned Lestat. fucked up

Armand is a piece of shit but the character is at least somewhat interesting. So far im not feeling the Gabriella character at all. Like it seems she has no motivations to do anything other than jab at people and act unbothered all the time lol

That's pretty much her in a nutshell..

Her entire arc was being a miserable caged bird and being liberated as a vampire. That's it. They told it in the dopset way last week... But there's nothing else for her to do other than squab up at the end when shit goes down....

At least Louis training for the fight on some Dragonball Z shit.....Gabby getting fucked during interviews.... That shit was BONKERS 😭

Like that shit is odd bruh she came there to help him, but when she there she just antagonizing that mf the whole time lol fuckin weirdo.

Daniel for sure slowly putting the pieces together that "Sofia" is his mother.

I hope they delve deeper into the great conversion or whatever. They havent said much about it from what I remember

im curious how thats going to play out. Earlier in the episode they made it seem like he couldnt fill out a venue and the concert sales were ass.. but at the end the dude that used to be in the band said they were about to blow up.

From the movie Akasha only showed up when the music was too loud to ignore I thought

Yeah, in the movie it made it seemed like she woke up cuz she could hear the music.
In the books, Marius literally rolled a TV into her tomb to play his music videos... Then was surprised that she woke up. She's 8,000 years old, she never saw a fucking TV before. I'm sure the show will have their own explanation. As much as I love the books... There was lotta questionable stuff that the show has seemed to go in other directions.... So I don't think that's really a spoiler. I have no belief that they will do something a stupid as have Marius play her the videos.....I just don't feel that fits this narrative style.
