Sometimes being the hero means saving the villain.
TVL got me into the seriesBruh you got me wanting to dive into the books. I read interview when I was a teenager and I think i read the vampire Armand but that’s it.
I read interview on high school as part of a class..... And I found it quite boring.
I liked the movie with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. But it was just cool.
I saw the movie QOTD in the theatre when it came out, and was like.... This doesn't feel right, lemme go back and read all the books.
Read interview again.... Still boring.
But........ When I got to TVL the first two chapters had me CRYING LAUGHING...
The crash out, breaking the 4th wall, how bad he roasted Louis.... Like the entire tone was different, and I was locked in. I don't think that chick was lying when she said the first episode was probably the best episode.... The way he crashed out in the first two or three chapters.... It makes sense. I can't wait to see this in live action.
Cuz the little clip of him at the bookstore tells me already this is going to be way funnier. Her saying the lawyer was hilarious, I can already see it. He is deliberately being 100% ridiculous the entire time.
Like Interview is a very boring book, and they some how turned it into 2 of the most entertaining seasons of television I've ever watched.
Now..
We're about to get that same team tackling one of the most entertaining books I've ever read??
It would be a shame if this isn't better than season 2. Bcuz everything about this book is better than the first two.
The lore, the characters, the drama, the impending danger. The sheer scale.... Like there's one particular scene I pray they keep and illustrate well. It was left out of QOTD movie, and they may leave it out here mainly because they don't have the budget, and it would be difficult to recreate. But this shit was ridiculous.. Nothing in me will make me spoil it. But goodness, I hope we get to see this. It'll put a lotta things into perspective.
